Gloucestershire Warwickshire  Railway 2012

 5542 arrived at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway on 14/06/2012 ready for work until January 2013, this page has photos of her at work on the line.

A quick visit to the line on 6 September:

5542 has just arrived at Cheltenham Racecourse station.

Driver Ben Evason relaxes while 5542's tanks are filled at Cheltenham Racecourse.

The driver can sit down while running bunker first!  Rather different to his day job as a
Train Manager on CrossCountry Trains.

Even dogs are fascinated by the Planet's Favourite Prairie!  5542 is in the process of running round her train Cheltenham Race Course.

5542 was in action on the scheduled passenger trains on the GWR today (20/06). The attached picture shows the loco taking water from their newly installed reverse osmosis plant at Cheltenham Race Course station after arriving with the 11:20 from Winchcombe.  Photo © Nick Jones
